New Paintings

Just wanted to say a big THANK-YOU to Stephanie and Katie for commissioning these paintings....I had to pull out the painting stuff from storage seeing as I had packed it all up for the next year that I will be away travelling. Now I'm a little sad to be packing it up again! Cheers :p

Crossing Rio Grande

These 2 paintings I completed as a collaborative effort with a local independent film maker Jason Sacha for his short film, Crossing Rio Grande. What you see is the raw artwork that will be adapted for use in the film's poster and other promotional items.

In Jason's words: "the story revolves around two intermediaries in a criminal organization who must choose how far they will cross in order to enjoy the good life. This theme is juxtaposed with the plight of the illegal Mexican immigrants that they shuttle around".

Sounds fantastic, doesn't it? I'm so excited for this film to come out! I will post again when I know more about when and where it will be showing. Cheers!
